This notice covers this website only. Data of students, applicants and staff in the MAIS academic information system is processed by the respective university as the controller. Please contact your university with questions about it.

Technical data when you visit – IP address, browser type, time and requested URL. It is logged by the hosting infrastructure to keep the site running and to prevent abuse. When signing in to the administration and calling the website's interfaces, we temporarily store the IP address to limit password-guessing and overload attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Communication – if you e-mail or call us, we process your contact details and the content of your message to reply or prepare an offer. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Analytics – only if you give consent, we use Google Analytics 4 for anonymous statistics on how the site is used. IP addresses are anonymised. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.

Administration – for content editor accounts we process name, e-mail and change logs including IP address and browser, so that it is possible to trace who changed the website and when.

Vercel Inc. – website hosting. Requests are processed by servers in Frankfurt (EU); static files are delivered by Vercel's global network. Neon Inc. – database for website content, editor accounts and security logs (servers in Frankfurt, EU). Google Ireland Ltd. – Google Analytics, only with consent.

Vercel and Neon are US companies; any transfer of data to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

Hosting logs for at most 1 day. IP addresses used to prevent attacks for at most 1 hour. Administration change logs for as long as the editor account exists. E-mail communication for as long as needed to handle it and any contractual relationship. Google Analytics statistics for 14 months.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent to analytics cookies at any time using the button below.

If you believe we process data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, www.dataprotection.gov.sk.
